How to Play Counter-Strike 1.6 on Android

Yes, you read that correctly. After 16 years, players can finally take their nostalgic (or favorite) version of Counter-Strike and play it anywhere they want. We’re not talking about a semi-complete version but an actual full version of CS 1.6.

The port was done thanks to one guy named Alibek Omarov who helped port the entire game with server, touch screen support, and everything. While the controls are clearly not meant for touch screens it’s still a marvel to behold.

Head here to download the necessary files and start fragging and “boom head shot”-ing away. Note that you will need to own the game on Steam to copy remaining files.

Install:
1) Install the APK. Install APK with omp postfix if you have multi-core device and noomp if you have single-core device or have problems with omp version.
2) Install the latest Xash3D Android from https://github.com/SDLash3D/xash3d-android-project/releases/latest.
3) Copy cstrike and valve folders from your Steam CS1.6 installation to xash folder on SDCard.
4) Run CS16Client!
