After playing a good chunk of Star Fox Zero I can safely say that most of the complaints feel highly exaggerated.

Are the controls unnecessary? Sure. Should they have left it simple? Probably, yea. But despite all this Nintendo and Platinum crafted a game that somehow made me use the Wii U in all gimmicky glory. This may be Star Fox dressed up in a funny outfit but it’s still the Star Fox we’ve been waiting for.
