It’s no secret that people are hyped and scared (in more ways than one) regarding the new Resident Evil.
A new press release sent by Capcom has revealed that the Resident Evil 7 demo has been downloaded over 2 million times breaking all sorts of records in the process. The demo, which acts as a prologue chapter of sorts, helps players get introduced to the new world of Resident Evil 7.
While the horror and atmosphere are certainly there some fans have felt the lack of weapons and the first person camera doesn’t make it feel like Resident Evil. Capcom where quick to rectify this worry by assuring fans that there will be combat involved, the game will however remain in first person.
