Out of all the things MGS fans requested Konami to do was finish Metal Gear Solid V. No matter how you slice it, that game lacked a proper ending and was even robbed of a proper final battle.
Now after a year since its release Metal Gear Solid V is getting a definitive edition which lacks that final chapter fans wanted. Gamers who missed out on it will be able to now buy this package which includes Ground Zeroes and all the fancy costume/skin DLC we’re used to seeing in most modern titles.
Adding more salt to the wound is the fact that Konami has abandoned the idea of finishing the game in favor of making an open world survivor horror game with the MGS brand on it.
With all said and done I guess this is the moment we finally say good bye to Chapter 3 for good. Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Edition will arrive on October 11th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC with the retail price of $49.99.
