4v4 Ninja Battles is Just What I Wanted From a New Naruto Game

The Naruto Ninja Storm series have been a staple of what a Naruto game should be like. While I don’t necessarily agree that it’s a competitive fighting game, it gets the job done in nailing the look and feel of the anime.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker hopes to take things to the next level by introducing a myriad of new things. First and foremost it will be built with a new engine and system, it seems Bandai Namco have learned from their Xenoverse experience and hopes to pass that over to here. The biggest addition however has to be the open world nature of its battles. 4v4 online will play a big part in Shinobi Striker and I for one am all in.

The one thing I certainly hope are reduced are the QTE’s. The Ninja Storm series were plagued with tapping buttons and getting stuck in combos so I hope that’s a bit more balanced. Also, 60 FPS is a must considering the fast nature of the game.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker aims to launch this year for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
