Video game fan films aren’t new but this one takes it to a whole new level.
A dedicated indie animation studio known as Ember Lab have decided to pool their talent into making a Majora’s Mask movie. As seen from the trailer, the quality is truly remarkable and something you usually see coming from a high budget studio. So why Majora’s Mask? Many Zelda fans consider it the best in the series and certainly the darkest entry in the franchise.
For now it’s unsure how much will be made out of this project. There is always the dreaded DMCA that looms with Nintendo not being shy of using it. So it’s best not to hold your breath.
