Genzoman, a concept artist, has revealed during a San Diego Gaming event that he was working on an unannounced Mega Man game.

The style as seen above was first going to draw inspiration from classic Mega Man then opted for more of a Modern Iron Man look. Both ideas along with the project were eventually scrapped.

The Mega Man Network who discovered this said the artwork may be connected to the cancelled Mavrick Hunter game that was also cancelled in 2010.

It’s sad to believe that it’s been more than 6 years since we got a new a Mega Man game. Capcom clearly seems to lack faith in the franchise. Or maybe it’s just waiting until someone picks it up and does something special with it.

Oh, who am I kidding. I just want Legends 3 back!
