The highly anticipated/controversial Ghost in The Shell movie has gotten its first teaser trailer(s) and so far it looks quite promising.

Naturally the internet is still at blaze due to Scarlett Johansson portraying the lead role of cybernetic agent Motoko Kusanagi who is supposed to look Asian. Personally, and as someone who watched the movies, I never saw her as someone who appeared Asian. My main concern with the movie was quality, I mean we all know how bad sci-fi movies can get. But judging from these short teasers I feel a bit more confident that the movie will at least nail the tone…hopefully.

We’ll find out more when Ghost in the Shell hits theaters early next year.
